It’s time! The chore of spring cleaning is upon us and I would like to share a few quick suggestions to make the process a little easier.
Week 1
Clear out the closets and decide which off-season items to store elsewhere or to
put in a donation pile. If you have not worn or used the item in the last 2-3 years,
find a new place for it.
Wipe down walls one room at a time along with all fixtures in those rooms.
Change batteries in your fire detectors.
Along with the above suggestions, you may want to also update your flooring.
While researching for the best floor that will suit your household, you might want
to consider checking out exactly what a sale is and try not to fall prey to gimmick
sales. When you find something discounted, was it taken from an item that was
marked up 150% then discounted from there? Buy one room of carpet and get
two for free. Is this possible for the company to lose money selling a floor to the
consumer. I don’t think so. Installation for 99.00 or free. Would you rationalize the flooring installers driving to your house with gas prices the way they are and working for free. Be aware, these are all marketing gimmicks to attract your attention. Please be a wise consumer and not fall into sale promotions.
